BG 3.8: Thus you should perform the prescribed Vedic duties, since action is superior to inaction. By stopping activity, even your physical maintenance will not be possible. BG 3.9: Work is to be done as sacrifice to the Supreme Lord; Otherwise, work creates bonds in this material world. Therefore, O son of Kunti, for the sake of the Lord, perform your appointed duty without attachment to the result.
