BG 11.21: All the celestial gods are taking Your shelter by entering into You. In awe, some are praising You with folded hands. The great sages and perfected beings are extolling You with auspicious hymns and profuse prayers. BG 11.22: The rudras, adityas, vasus, sadhyas, vishvadevas, Ashwini Kumars, maruts, ancestors, gandharvas, yakshas, asuras, and siddhas are all beholding You in wonder. BG 11.23: O mighty Lord, in veneration of Your magnificent form with its many mouths, eyes, arms, thighs, legs, stomachs, and terrifying teeth, all the worlds are terror-stricken, and so am I. BG 11.24: O Lord Vishnu, seeing Your form touching the sky, effulgent in many colors, with mouths wide open and enormous blazing eyes, my heart is trembling with fear. I have lost all courage and peace of mind. BG 11.25: Having seen Your many mouths bearing Your terrible teeth, resembling the raging fire at the time of annihilation, I forget where I am and do not know where to go. O Lord of lords, You are the shelter of the universe; please have mercy on me. BG 11.26-27: I see all the sons of Dhritarashtra, along with their allied kings, including Bheeshma, Dronacharya, Karn, and also the generals from our side, rushing headlong into Your fearsome mouths. I see some with their heads smashed between Your terrible teeth. BG 11.28-29: As many waves of the rivers flowing rapidly into the ocean, so are all these great warriors entering into Your blazing mouths. As moths rush with great speed into the fire to perish, so are all these armies entering with great speed into Your mouths. BG 11.30: With Your fiery tongues You are licking up the hosts of living beings on all sides and devouring them with Your blazing mouths. O Vishnu, You are scorching the entire universe with the fierce, all-pervading rays of Your effulgence.

BG 13.13: I will now reveal to you that which should be known and by knowing which one attains immortality. It is eternal Brahman, which is beyond existence and non-existence. BG 13.14: His hands and feet, eyes, head, mouth are everywhere. His ears are also everywhere, for He pervades everything in the universe. BG 13.15: Although he perceives all sense-objects, he is devoid of sense. He is attached to everything, yet He is the holder of all. Although He is qualityless, yet He is the enjoyer of the three modes of material nature. BG 13.16: He exists outside and inside all living beings, both moving and non-moving. He is subtle, and therefore He is incomprehensible. He is far away, but He is also very close. BG 13.17: He is indivisible, yet He appears to be divided into living beings. Know the Supreme Being as the sustainer, destroyer and creator of all beings. BG 13.18: He is the source of all-illuminating light, and is completely above the darkness of ignorance. He is knowledge, the object of knowledge and the goal of knowledge. He resides in the hearts of all living beings. BG 13.19: Thus have I revealed to you the nature of the field, the meaning of knowledge and the object of knowledge. Only My devotees can actually understand this and by doing so attain My divine nature. BG 13.20: Know that both Prakriti (material nature) and Purusha (individual soul) are eternal. Also know that all the transformations of the body and the three modes of nature are produced by material energy.

BG 13.21: In creation, material energy is responsible for cause and effect; The individual soul is held responsible for the experience of happiness and unhappiness. BG 13.22: When the Purusha (individual soul) seated in nature desires to enjoy the three gunas, attachment to them becomes the cause of his birth in superior and inferior wombs. BG 13.23: Even in the body the Supreme exists. He is called the witness, the enabler, the supporter, the transcendental enjoyer, the ultimate controller and the Paramatma (Paramatma). BG 13.24: Those who understand the truth about the Supreme Soul, the individual soul, material nature and the interaction of the three modes of nature will not take birth here again. Regardless of their current status they will be released. BG 13.25: Some try to realize the Supreme in their heart through meditation, and some try to do so through the cultivation of knowledge, and still others try to achieve that realization by the path of action. BG 13.26: There are still others who are not aware of these spiritual paths, but they start worshiping the Supreme Lord by hearing from others. By such devotion to hearing from saints, they too can gradually cross the ocean of birth and death. BG 13.27: O best of the Bharatas, whatever you see in existence, moving or immobile, know it as the combination of action and field. BG 13.28: Only they truly see, who perceive the Paramatma (Paramatma) in association with the soul in all beings, and who perceive both as imperishable in this perishable body. BG 13.29: Those who see God as the Supreme Being equally present everywhere and in all living beings, do not degrade themselves by mind. Through this they reach the highest destination. BG 13.30: Those who truly see are those who understand that all actions (of the body) are performed by the material nature, while the embodied soul actually does nothing. BG 13.31: When they see the diversity of living beings situated in the same material nature and realize that they are all born, they realize Brahman. BG 13.32: The Supreme Being is imperishable, without beginning and devoid of any material quality, O son of Kunti. Although situated in the body, it does not act, nor is it tainted by material energy. BG 13.33: Space contains everything within it, but being subtle is not contaminated by what it contains. Similarly, although its consciousness pervades the body, the soul is not affected by the characteristics of the body. BG 13.34: As one sun illuminates the entire solar system, so the individual soul illuminates the entire body (including consciousness). BG 13.35: Those who, with the eye of knowledge, perceive the difference between the body and the jnana and the process of liberation from material nature, attain the ultimate destination.
